As the summer holiday drew to a close, we had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Angela Seddon at a DTU Lys colloquium. Prof. Seddon is a world leading expert in glasses, in particular mid-infrared glasses. Her talk:
Towards Biomedical Spectroscopy and Imaging with Fibre MIR Supercontinuum Light was a tour-de-force the science of glasses, including everything from the fundamentals to applications and future research directions. Despite the broad range of topics, Prof. Seddon tied everything together nicely, and gave a well-structured and compelling talk.
All in all a great success with a big thank you to professor Angela Seddon!
